Networks that stay up when the power doesn't.

NOK Networks designs, builds and runs connectivity and power infrastructure — managed WiFi, fibre and wireless networks, solar and storage. Headquartered in Lagos, deploying across Nigeria, taking projects anywhere in Africa. Built by engineers who have run these systems in production, not just specified them.

Services

Four things, done properly.

We would rather be the best on the continent at a short list than adequate at a long one. Each of these is a system we design, install, document and can keep running under a maintenance agreement.

01

Managed WiFi & hotspot systems

Paid or free WiFi for estates, markets, hotels, schools and serviced offices — with the billing, vouchers and session control that make it actually manageable.

  • CAPsMAN-managed access points
  • RADIUS / User Manager billing
  • Branded captive portal + walled garden
  • Per-user bandwidth and session limits
  • Voucher and subscription plans
02

Network design & installation

From a single office floor to a multi-building campus. Designed to a drawing, labelled, documented and handed over — not improvised on site.

  • GPON / FTTH and fibre backbone
  • Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless
  • VLAN segmentation and routing
  • Structured cabling to a labelling scheme
  • CCTV, NVR and access control
03

Solar, inverter & storage

Power sized to a real load profile, not a guess. The network and the power system designed together, because one is useless without the other.

  • Load audit before sizing
  • Hybrid inverter and PV array design
  • Lithium or tubular battery banks
  • Rack and equipment-room power
  • Changeover and protection
04

Audits, support & consultancy

For networks someone else built and nobody can now explain. We map what exists, say what is wrong, and quote only what is worth fixing.

  • Network and RF site survey
  • Carrier bill and circuit reconciliation
  • Documentation and topology mapping
  • Monthly managed-service agreements
  • Vendor-neutral procurement advice

How we build

The standard we hold ourselves to.

Most network problems in Nigeria are not exotic. They are undocumented cabling, undersized power, and nobody left who remembers how it was configured. We work so that the next engineer — ours or yours — can pick it up cold.

01 Survey before quote

We walk the site and measure before we price it. A quote written from a phone call is a guess, and the variation order always lands on you.

02 Design on paper first

Topology, IP plan, labelling scheme and power budget are agreed before a cable is pulled. You get the drawings whether or not you continue with us.

03 Documented handover

As-built drawings, device inventory, credentials and configuration export. The network does not live in one engineer's head.

04 Power is part of the network

An access point on an unprotected circuit is a fault waiting for the next outage. We size power with the network, not after it.

05 Vendor-neutral

We are not paid to prefer a brand. Where a cheaper component does the job, we say so and the saving is yours.

06 Named engineer

Every job has one engineer accountable for it by name, reachable directly. No ticket queue between you and the person who built it.

The name

The oldest builders in Nigeria.

The Nok civilisation rose on the Jos Plateau more than three thousand years ago. Its people left behind terracotta figures of extraordinary craft, and something rarer: some of the earliest iron smelting anywhere in West Africa. They were working iron while most of the world was still working stone.

They were not traders of other people's goods. They were makers. They took raw material out of the ground and built things that outlasted them by millennia.

That is the standard we took the name for. We build infrastructure meant to outlast the people who installed it — documented, labelled, and handed over so the next engineer can carry it forward.
